Library Policies

Library Policies Affected by COVID-19

For safety reasons, the South Plains College Libraries will temporarily limit the number of visitors in the building at any one time.The Levelland Library will allow 30 visitors in at a time, and the Reese Center Library will allow 5 visitors.

  • We will have online chat available for your reference questions, all hours a library is open.
  • For the time being, library staff will gather items you wish to checkout for you.  You can call ahead, place holds online, or visit us in person.
  • We continue to offer curbside pick up and return of library items!
  • We are here to help, let us know what we can do for you!

 

Please note that, as with all SPC buildings, a mask must be worn at all time while within the libraries.

  • Students who use the library computers are asked to clean them after they are finished. Cleaning supplies are available.
  • The furniture in the library is positioned to promote social distancing. Students are asked to practice social distancing while in the libraries.

Library Technology

Library Chromebooks and WiFi Hotspots

The SPC Levelland Library has Chromebooks available for students who do not have computers at home, and WiFi Hotspots for those without Internet access. They may be picked up at the Levelland campus. For more information on the Chromebooks and Wifi Hotspots, click the link below.

The SPC libraries currently have a small number of Chromebooks and WiFi Hotspots available.
