Library Mission Statement

The South Plains College Library’s mission is to proactively support the SPC Vision and Mission through the provisioning of information resources and learner support environments that enhance the academic experience of our college community. This will be accomplished by the continual alignment of our learning resources, technology, physical and digital spaces, and services to our community.  The following ongoing objectives were implemented to support both college and departmental missions:

• Be service- and college community-orientated in all we do
• Be data- and assessment-driven in our decision making
• Be engaged with our community to understand their needs
• Be efficient in the provision and selection of resources
